Join the Vargas family on our 3rd-generation sustainable farm. This complete experience invites you to interact with our animals, feed the baby calves, and even try your hand at milking a friendly Jersey cow.
The best part is the hands-on workshop, where you'll learn the traditional process of making our family's artisanal cheese *and* fresh tortillas. Afterwards, we’ll all sit down to enjoy the fresh cheese you helped make, served with a delicious cup of local coffee.

Come and bake with us in our traditional kitchen! In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the Vargas family's cherished secrets for making delicious Costa Rican bread and savory empanadas from scratch.
We use fresh, local ingredients, many sourced directly from our own sustainable farm. It's a fun, warm, and inviting experience for all ages. At the end of a class, you'll get to enjoy the warm bread and empanadas you just baked.
